Bob Richardson
took office on Nov 20th 2000.
Bob moved to Bloomingdale in 1995 from Aurora Ill with his wife of 33
years, long time Bloomingdale
native, Kathy Gibbons. After
retiring from AT&T as a computer programmer
Bob has worked as a surveyor, a DNR Park Ranger on the Kal Haven Trail
and served as Deputy Treasurer during 2000.
He served 9 years in the Army as a Captain and has a degree in business
from Northern Ill. Univ. Bob and
Kathy are very active in the community: both are members of the Kal Haven
Trail Lions, the Bloomingdale Area Improvement Club and the Bloomingdale
Development Corporation. Bob was recently appointed to the Parks and
Recreation Commission where he serves as chairman. Bob and Kathy have one
adult daughter, Patricia, who lives in Philadelphia.
TRUSTEE
Doug Burleson,
a lifelong resident of Bloomingdale Township, took office on November 20,
2001. Doug is a graduate of Bloomingdale High School. He is married to the former Alice Rhodes and they have 3
children, all currently attending Bloomingdale Schools.
Doug is a farmer and is also employed by the Village of Bloomingdale as
Superintendent of Public Works. He
has served on the Fire Department since 1980 where he has been the secretary
and chief. The Burlesons are
active in 4-H and Doug belongs to the Bloomingdale Area Improvement Club, the
Bloomingdale Development Corporation and is an assistant
Bloomingdale High School varsity football coach.
